On November 5, 2019 Raben Group signed a purchase agreement with Family Ehrig to acquire 50% of its shares in Fenthol & Sandtmann, including FKL & Kraftverkehr Ehrig. With this transaction Raben will become the sole shareholder of the German company. The transaction will be finalized after the approval of the antitrust authorities.

In recent years, Raben Group has dynamically invested in the German market, constantly implementing its long-term strategy of developing its own independent transport network. Thanks to the agreement with Fenthol & Sandtmann, the Group is able to meet customer expectations more effectively by offering an efficient transport network based on 34 branches in Germany. The company is focused on the implementation of the latest IT solutions in the logistics sector, thanks to which it creates new development prospects not only for itself, but above all for its customers.


Following this agreement, Raben Group will take over all the Fenthol & Sandtmann locations, namely Hamburg, Erlensee, Leipzig and Dresden, together with more than 460 employees.

Fenthol & Sandtmann, together with its branches, such as FKL Kontraktlogistik and Kraftverkehr Ehrig, it fuses trade traditions with modern 21st century logistics. The company's roots go back around 190 years, making it a real logistics expert. In 2011 Raben Group acquired 50% of the shares of Fenthol & Sandtmann. The company provides road, sea and air transport services, as well as contract logistics, with an annual turnover of 130 million euros.
