RABEN GROUP TAKES OVER DGO EXPRESS IN NETHERLANDS

DGO Express is a Dutch family-owned company that is part of the Sent Waninge Group and provides groupage road transport and warehousing services. The company is located on the A28 highway, near the Hoogeveen junction, a strategic location that serves as a gateway to the northern Netherlands and the Benelux countries.

“The logistics sector has been evolving rapidly in recent years, and these changes are accelerating. This presents not only new opportunities but also challenges. “We will concentrate on our other regional activities with our remaining transport companies Sent Waninge Transport and Transpa Emmen B.V.” - said Jantinus e Arnold Waninge, the shareholders of the Sent Waninge Group who will continue the business as established by their grandfather in the 1930’s.

Raben Group is also a family-owned company that originated in the Netherlands and has more than 90 years of experience in the market. In the 1990s, the company decided to develop business in Europe. Today Raben has more than 160 of its own locations in 15 European countries, has about 1,800,000 sqm of warehouse space and the company's annual turnover exceeds €2 billion. In the Netherlands alone, the company already has four branches  and the Dutch headquarter is located in Oss.

By acquiring DGO Express, Raben is enhancing its local road network in the Netherlands, thus solidifying its position in contract logistics and groupage transport. This acquisition will benefit DGO customers by providing them with increased development opportunities across Europe and access to a robust and stable local network. Additionally, DGO employees joining Raben will enjoy new opportunities for growth and development.
