The change in the leadership of Raben SITTAM comes after a full-bodied work of growth and consolidation in the Italian market that, three years after the beginning of its transition into Raben Group, sees the Milan-based company perfectly integrated within the Group. The handover at the helm of Raben SITTAM takes place in total continuity and with the support of Wojciech Brzuska, who will retain his role as Raben Group Regional Manager Italy and Greece in addition to serving as Chairman of the Raben SITTAM Board of Directors.
I am very pleased with the work and the excellent results achieved by the team I have been lucky to lead in these first three years of Raben SITTAM," said Wojciech Brzuska, "I can only be proud that the position of Managing Director has been entrusted to a person already internal to the company. I have full confidence in Rolando's abilities and I am excited to see what new successes he will lead Raben SITTAM to. I can only wish him the best in his new role as CEO. "
An industry veteran, throughout his professional career Rolando Bargigia has accumulated a great knowledge of international domestic markets. Before joining Raben SITTAM, he was Supply Chain Manager, Branch Manager, Projects&Tender Center Manager and Country Head of Logistics in different leading companies such as PSA PEUGEOT CITROEN, CEVA & GEFCO, among others. In his new role, Bargigia will lead the Group's Italian subsidiary, defining and implementing the strategy, mission and vision shared with Raben Group.
Rolando Bargigia, newly elected CEO of Raben SITTAM, said, "I thank Wojciech for the professional and human journey we have shared. This appointment is a great responsibility and challenge for me, which I intend to take on strong from the teachings of the great professional who preceded me and the support of the Raben SITTAM team and the entire Raben Group. Our goals are very ambitious and, as the past years have taught us, there will be no shortage of challenges, but I will do my best to contribute to the development of the business so that Raben SITTAM can continue to grow and consolidate its leadership position in the Italian market."
