RABEN GROUP PRESENTS THE NEW WEBSITE: INNOVATIVE AND USER-ORIENTED

Raben Group has always been close to the needs of its customers and is a brand attentive to innovation, not only in the context of its business. In recent days, the Group presented its new website which includes, among others, the quick check of the status of a shipment, easy access to the customer area and the "People with Drive" philosophy, or rather to the Raben team that has years he carries out his work with passion and dedication.

In a world where digitization has allowed the dissemination and rapid access of a considerable amount of information, the development of efficient and customer-oriented tools by companies is essential. And this is precisely one of the reasons that led Raben Group, one of the most important transport and logistics groups in Europe, to completely renovate its site.

For the Italian Business Unit of the Group, Raben SITTAM (www.rabensittam.com) the new site represents an important change: the new and innovative web interface available to the customer once again demonstrates the importance that the company places on building professional relationships and constant company-customer communication.

The new website is our response to the change in the online world and has been designed with the desire to always be alongside our customers and beyond  – said Katarzyna Bartkiewicz, Digital Marketing Manager in Raben Group. “What we want to convey to visitors, whether they are prospects, customers or future employees is that behind the everyday challenges are the People with Drive, a united team that works with passion and energy to meet the needs of its customers.

The design of the new website responds to the most recent UX (User Experience) requirements and highlights the technological, international, modern and dynamic character of the Group:

  • Simplified menu that allows quick access to the most important features such as services, sectors and more.
  • MyRaben platform in evidence, a complete tool for managing delivery processes in which you can independently check, in the myTrack & Trace section, the status of your shipment in real time, download the PODs and view invoices.
  • Ffunctionality dedicated to unique IT solutions: PCD (Picture Confirming Delivery) cwhich allows you to confirm the delivery without any contact, almost without the participation of the recipient. ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival), a feature that allows the client company to have transparent and simple information on delivery times so that you can have better control over daily operations.
  • Easy access to the customer zone, search engine for the nearest branch, quick check of shipping statuses and a section created specifically for FAQs.

 

To improve the website user experience, Raben decided to design a website based on TYPO3PWA. Progressive Web Applications (PWAs) combine the best features of websites and mobile applications. Thanks to this, the new website is much faster and works even when the user does not have access to the network or uses a slow link. Not only that, it is also easily accessible from mobile devices, allowing intuitive scrolling and menus tailored to users who prefer to use their smartphones.

New website has been created in collaboration with Macopedia: technology company specialized in the complete implementation of advanced web and e-commerce solutions. The two companies have jointly developed the Raben website for over 5 years, continually adding new features. In its latest version Macopedia was responsible for preparing the UX graphic design, implementing the TYPO3 content management system and creating the TYPO3PWA based website.
