The SAP Quality Awards have been presented for the thirteenth time. Since 2010, the competition has allowed SAP customers and their implementation partners to share their experiences of successful digital transformation projects. A novelty in the current edition is the 'Digital Pioneer' category which was added to the existing ones - 'Rapid Time to Value' and 'Business Transformation', which are divided into the subcategories 'Enterprise Solutions' and 'Functional Transformation'.
Raben Group was the main winner in the last category. The jury awarded the creation of a comprehensive HR environment to support managers, employees and the HR team in 24 of the operator's business units in Poland, and additionally in 13 European countries. Its success was determined by criteria such as effective communication, delivery of high-quality results in a short time as well as the project accountability. Raben's partner in this project was Gavdi.
“Due to the nature of our business, we needed a world-class solution. One that would offer best practices in terms of global HR processes and user experience while at the same time responding to local needs arising from the constantly changing legislation” - says Anita Koralewska-Ratajczak, Head of HR at Raben Group. - “In the case of this project, our joy and satisfaction are double. We are pleased not only with the prestigious award in the international competition which recognises our innovation, but also with the fact that the system works brilliantly and allows us to streamline many processes
The new Group-wide shared HR environment was launched in January 2022. It is based on SAP SuccessFactors in terms of: Employee Central, Employee Central Payroll, Performance & Goals, Succession & Development. In addition, it uses Gavdi's proprietary tools to extend the SAP solution, such as eDeklaracje, PPK, Korekty ZUS, Reporter, Document Generator, eTeczka, Replicator, Reminder, ePaski, Self Service Platform.
The system supports the area of human resources, payroll and employee development management. It helps to speed up information flows, reduce manual work for the HR department and streamline many processes. It has the advantage of a very wide range of employee and managerial self-service. It is an invaluable tool in performance ana talent management, succession planning as well as employee development. The first year of operation has shown that this investment in Raben Group's 'hard' and 'soft' HR was a great hit.
“To complete such a wide-ranging implementation in 10 months, involving multiple SAP and Gavdi solutions, is in itself an exceptional achievement. And since the aim was not implementation per se, but rather the significant optimisation of processes and the implementation of new solutions, the bar for the project was set very high right from the concept stage. This achievement was made possible primarily thanks to our professional and motivated team who strived at every step to ensure the best possible end result” - emphasises Anita Koralewska-Ratajczak.
This is not the first award for this project. Last year, the implementation was also awarded the SAP Innovation Award 2022 for its excellent pace of implementation and innovative use of the cloud in HR.
